Lately, I've been seeing a lot of "What I Wore Today"-type blogs. Those are always cool to look at, but it's not really my bag... not yet anyway.

No offense to all those bloggers, but lately all I see are repeats of the same outfit:
- Loose top of some sort (shirt or dress) that is black, white, cream, beige... you get the picture
- Belt or jacket to rein in all that fabric
- Skinny pants/jeans or leggings
- Chunky black heels

I guess it just annoys me to see one thousand iterations of a supposedly subversive outfit. I hope no one takes this to mean that I think I have better fashion sense than these bloggers, because that's not my point at all. My point is, really, that we need something new!

  1. True, I definitely agree with you. I love those outfits, but it gets kind of boring when about every other blogger has a picture of the same one.
I love Susie Bubble's style - it's really unique and I love almost all of her outfits.
...If you haven't seen the blog alrady, you should check it out - I promise you'll see something different. :)

  2. Yeah, I used to read Style Bubble all the time!!

She's definitely got a crazy imagination when it comes to clothing, though!! I stopped reading because I thought her style was too out-there for me, but now I check back every now and then to see what she's up to. :P
