Resort 2013: Jason Wu, Kelly Wearstler, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Marios Schwab, Missoni, Ohne Titel, Pedro Lourenco, Peter Pilotto, Prabal Gurung, Rebecca Minkoff, Reed Krakoff, Sachin + Babi, Valentino

Of note: Floral, nature-inspired prints aren't going anywhere. Get your fill!

As time goes by, Kelly Wearstler is improving -- which is exactly what should be happening, no? Her first foray into clothing left me unimpressed, as her collection struck me as someone imitating what they thought a designer should do. This time, however... there's something growing. I'm impressed by the somewhat surreal prints (is that a tiger, or...?) and the interesting shapes sprinkled throughout.

Of note: Animal prints...everywhere, pattern mix, urban camouflage, vibrant but not overpowering colors.

Of note: Polka dots of all sizes, high-shine metallics, velvet shoes, being matchy-matchy.

Of note: A strong geometric influence, satin, rich colors.

Oh my gosh, Missoni. I have been a big fan for quite some time (minus that Target collaboration... that was a fiasco in many ways), and they've done it again! The color palette here is absolutely gorgeous, and the touches of ombre used give the pieces an interesting dimensionality. I'd love to see that pleated skirt in person!

Of note: Muted ombre, pattern mix, big -- but not matronly -- abstracted florals, lace-inspired patterns, peep-toe booties, controlled volume, slim silhouettes.

I don't know why, but the filters used in this shoot remind me of Drive (and Rihanna's Loud album). Actually, now that I think of it, the clothes are a little reminiscent of the Driver as well. I mean, look at those jackets.

Of note: Windbreakers, brooches, slim layers.

Ah, just the way I like it -- eye-searing patterns and colors. I'm not really sure what else to say about this collection.
