It's ON.

Lately, it seems like Old Navy can do no wrong. Having Todd Oldham head their team was probably the best decision they've ever made...as Gap fades into the background, could Old Navy be rising up to take its place? (It wouldn't matter for Gap, really...it's all the same company.)

Check out these choice items:

Black leopard print safari dress, $29.00

Canvas and wood platform sandals, $34.50

Patterned beach towel, $10.00

Giraffe-print clutch with wooden handle, $19.50

Patterned scarf

Marchesa

I'm just going to let the pictures do the talking.

The last one is my favorite: it looks like something a princess would wear.

Fall 2008 RTW

Looking at all the Fall 08 RTW, I came across Erin Fetherston's collection... wasn't too impressed. I don't think that Fall is the right season for her. It seemed like she was suppressing her usual girlyness in favor of what she thought Fall wear should be.

That's not to say that she should be a one-trick pony, trotting out florals season after season (Get it? Get it?), but this collection just seemed a little lackluster. Oh well, it must be incredibly tough to be a designer.
